Hello, my name is Roetta-Lee Smith and I started acting in theater in Detroit, Michigan 'back in the day.' I suppose my professional career officially began in 1996 (when I joined my 1st union) I have appeared on stage, TV, the big screen and new media. Fast forward to the 21st Century, and here I am writing and producing my own work & collaborating with other talented professionals and friends. I wrote, produced and starred in my first web series, Everything's Coming Up Ro'ses and in January 2020, the Roetta Group wrapped my newest comedy short COUPLES THERAPY - Coming Soon to a Film Festival near you.
